Prologue:
|
|
 |
International
dialogue about religious thoughts with its rich
background arrives to the forth step of its demeanor.
Research Department of Art University of Isfahan started
a research of viewpoints on religious art with a high
considerations of Muhammadan taught.
1- The first step was (2006 Dec) organized by Art
University of Isfahan. The outcome of the conference was
some books which presented new theories of Islamic art.
2- The second conference held in New Delhi (2007 Dec)
organized by Jamia Millia Islamia, following the
production of the first step moved further.
3- Lahore hosted the third of the series (2008 Dec)
organized by National College of Arts which had the
theme of Islamic art and architecture, tradition and its
relevance to the contemporary world.
4- And now we are happy to announce that the forth step
is coming back again to Isfahan with the aim of
reviewing all the achievements of the previous
conferences and providing the infrastructures for fresh
ideas and efforts on analyzing Historical views of
Islamic Art and Architecture. |

Conference Idea: |

Now a days, contemporary art is facing an evolution
based on religious believes. This is seen in theorizing
education and planning the research and development of
art. Excellency of projection of religious thoughts in
art with great emphasis on Nabavid traditions could be
distinguishable in comparison with other schools of art,
civilizations and religions.
The aim of these conferences is giving a new meaning to
higher education of art based on this spiritual concept.
This new movement is reflected in engineering research
and development of art. The forth conference with
special concerns on theorizing development and
civilization is promoting this new concept toward
different arts including literature, visual arts,
performing arts, architecture and ekistics. The expected
results will shed light to management and applied
aspects of education and creating art. |

1-Appraisal of Religious Thoughts in comparative
study of different civilizations and religions on the
basis of cosmopolitan point of view of Islamic art.
2-Critical discussion on theology and religious theory
in Islamic-Iranian civilization.
3-Introduction to a new theory for modern civilization
with emphasis on different arts, architecture and
ekistics.
4-Brightening the structure of art theory in a new
interpretation of Islamic art with the help of dynamic
theoretical aspects of religious believes.
5-Reconsidering the arts of Islamic world based on
changing face of civilization to a new cultural Islamic
one with impression of Islamic-Iranian achievements in
different schools of art, architecture and ekistics.
6-Reviewing structure of higher education of art based
on interdisciplinary aspects of regenerating
characteristics of religious art.
7-Motivating the journey to the new methodology of
Islamic art education. |

Scientific committee is formed in three working
groups as the following:
1-Civilization Theory,
2-Academic Education of Art,
3-Research and Development of Art.
In which, eminent faculty members of Art University of
Isfahan and other organizations like Art Academy of
Islamic Republic of Iran, Ministry of Science, research
and Technology of I.R. of Iran, Jamia Millia Islamia
(India) and National College of Arts (Pakistan) are
taking part. |
